Black Matcha Bowl (Chawan)

Create the perfect cup of matcha with this black glazed matcha bowl. Expertly crafted, this bowl is shaped to allow you to whisk easily and achieve the perfect frothy matcha tea.

Matcha bowls, or chawan, are practical works of art, designed for preparing matcha green tea. Made entirely from reclaimed and recycled clay, all our matcha bowls have their own unique character and charm. The slightly asymmetric shape of each bowl is a nod to the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi, or beauty in imperfection.

Microwave and dishwasher safe.
