This style of Wan Shou Wu Jiang porcelain depicts four equally spaced circles inscribed with the Chinese characters: Wan, Shou, Wu, and Jiang. These characters translate to “May you have ten thousand longevities without boundary.” The teapot exterior is decorated with an intricately detailed botanical pattern known as Bao Xiang Hua, which features flowers, leaf flourishes, and tendrils.
