Blue & White Gaiwan with Pouring Spout

This porcelain gaiwan has a pattern of blue flying bats and stylized circular Chinese characters. Both are very auspicious symbols in Chinese art. This “easy” gaiwan features handles, a tapered spout, and a uniquely spiraling knob on top.
