Hojicha is a roasted green tea with a wonderfully smooth flavor and nutty caramel notes. The traditional roasting process hojicha undergoes leaves it with little to no bitterness and low levels of caffeine.

Our finely ground Hojicha Powder is versatile and can be used in a range of dessert and beverage applications. Try it on its own or create a rich hojicha latte. Due to its low caffeine content, hojicha can be enjoyed any time of day or night.

A favorite everyday green tea made from the leaves and twigs of the autumn and winter harvests. When you sip a cup of Bancha Hojicha you can taste smooth, nutty, and toasted notes with hints of caramel and wood. Bancha Hojicha has the least caffeine of all our green teas and little to no bitterness as a result of the careful roasting process it undergoes. In fact, Hojicha is unique among Japanese teas because it is roasted, whereas most Japanese teas are steamed.

Named after the birthplace of Oolong in Jiangxi Province, these premium roasted tea leaves from the Wuyi Mountains harmonize the Yin of an ambrosial bouquet with the Yang of toasted hazelnut.

At the higher end of the oxidation spectrum, Wuyi Oolong offers great body with complex sweet, nutty, and smoky tasting notes. As the twisted tea leaves unfurl during brewing, they will reveal even more depth and layers of flavor.
