A special offering for those who collect tea. An ancient preparation of raw yunnan tea with subtle, earthy flavors. This Liji Gu Zhuang cake is from their 2012 harvest.
Break off a quarter-sized amount of tea and place into a small teapot. "Wake the leaves" with a rinse of 190 degree water then discard. Gently pour hot water over tea and let steep for 3 minutes.
